Drone Music

Drone Day (droneday.org) is an annual celebration of community and experimental sounds. It was initiated in 2014 by the artist Marie LeBlanc Flanagan. The idea is "to awaken tiny vibrations in our skin" by having people create drone music simultaneously across the world. For the 2023 edition, we invited our users to submit their sustained, extended, or repeating tones: vocal drones, vibrating appliances, toys, synths, and more.
